Presently, the average cost of 4 years of college is between $80,000 and $200,000 per child, while the average length of college attendance is 5.8 years to obtain a bachelor’s degree! This meteoric rise in the cost of a college education has parents anxiously balancing what is best for our children verses being a pauper-in-waiting. For most, the obtainment of a college education for our children is the single most expensive decision we will make absent the purchase of a home, yet it is all too often ill prepared for.
